Learn more about the art, science, and skill of putting fire on the land! This one-day training will cover drip torch use and how different ignition patterns can be used to achieve ecological objectives on a prescribed burn. We’ll connect the dots between fuels, weather, topography, and burn objectives, and how those inform ignition strategies. Then we will put our new knowledge to use with a small prescribed burn at our host property.
